Not a traditional remedy: MitoQ is an engineered analog of CoQ10 (a triphenylphosphonium-conjugated ubiquinone) designed to concentrate antioxidant activity inside mitochondria, since standard CoQ10 poorly penetrates the mitochondrial membrane.
